Why This Matters

Why This Matters

You've heard the statistics.  22 veterans die by suicide every day in the United States.  A lot of those veterans are getting medical care and they're getting counseling.  What they're not getting is help for the wounds to their souls.

They can't get that help until they're able to break through the barriers of silence, isolation, and stigma that surround the invisible mental and spiritual trauma that war inflicts.

Talking about wartime experiences and the moral anguish they cause is incredibly hard.  Frozen in War - the film - is designed to break the ice and start the conversation.  When we play the film in audiences of veterans, their families, and concerned civilians, the film serves as the first voice; the veterans in the film start the conversation so the veterans in the audience can continue it.

Help us give suffering veterans a safe place to speak and be heard without being judged - by donating to Frozen in War.    Your donation will help us finish the film and start a conversation that can save a life.
