About the WYSH Project
Andrew O'Brien and the WYSH Project
US Army Iraq Veteran and suicide survivor Andrew O'Brien founded the WYSH ("Welcoming Your Soldier Home") Project to bring awareness of the problems veterans face with Post-Traumatic Stress and suicide. Andrew and his brother Lee O'Brien, also a suicide survivor and a US Army Veteran of Afghanistan, travel the United States and the world telling their stories to reduce the stigma that often haunts veterans with mental health issues, and to help their fellow military service personnel find the help they need.
