What is a "Save A Hero" event?

Save A Hero events, sponsored by the WYSH Project.org, are community events designed to create a hospitable and comfortable place where veterans and civilians can share their experiences of wartime trauma and discuss the issues it creates for veterans - and especially to combat the epidemic of suicide that exists among US veterans and active duty service members.  Save A Hero is a unique, interactive Hollywood film screening event, featuring a showing of the documentary film “Frozen in War” and providing the audience a chance to hear from the film’s star cast of veteran suicide survivors and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) experts first-hand.
